Scope of work

Design and supply of turbine +  pump pumping unit

Brief description

A small Kaplan turbine, directly coupled to a 6 stages centrifugal pump, drives a 100% mechanical pumping unit with no electricity consumption. This small pumping group provides the village of Kahemba (20.000 people) with more than 250.000 litres of drinkable water every day.
